The Odeon Experience

The Easter Holidays have officially started! The kids are getting excited as the Easter bunny will be visiting in a couple of days and there is no better way to celebrate Easter than a trip to your local Odeon to see the newly released Peter Rabbit.

I was kindly invited down to Odeon with my little man Alex and my friend Emma and her little girl Carly to watch Peter Rabbit a couple of weeks ago. I had never actually taken Alex to the cinema before and I was slightly nervous that he would not sit still throughout the entire film, however to my surprise he did!

Upon arrival at our local Odeon in Bh2, we enquired about our tickets and a member of staff kindly guided us to the Manager who went above and beyond in his service to us. Their snack and drink selection at Odeon is incredible and I just did not know what to choose. In a fluster, I just picked my normal cinema order which is a salted popcorn. Alex however, could not decide between popcorn or sweets, so the Manager kindly suggested he pour a mixture of sweets on top of the popcorn for him which Alex was ecstatic with!

We were given a tray for all of our goodies and headed up the escalator to Screen number 9. Outside of the screens a staff member was handing out Peter Rabbit ears which Alex absolutely loved and still (2 weeks on) wears them around the house. The film was very enjoyable for the kids, Alex was giggling throughout and the slapstick violence had him belly laughing. It really catches the attention of the children and I loved the fact that Alex enjoyed himself so much!

Odeon are such a family friendly cinema & the one in Bh2 even has a play creche in one of the screens in case the children do get a bit restless during a film, such a brilliant idea. They also have the impressive iSense screen available for the full cinema experience!

After the film, we headed down to Bh2’s country garden to take some pictures! In case you didn’t know Bh2 sent up their own country garden located opposite LlaoLlao on the ground floor, if you head down there, take some pictures with the props, upload them to Twitter or Facebook using the #Bh2CountryGarden, you could be in with a chance of winning some fabulous prizes!

I can’t thank Odeon for giving my little boy an amazing first cinema experience and I’m so excited to take him back!

*We were provided with complimentary tickets and snacks by Odeon in exchange for this review however all words are my own.
